Personal Interests

Dr. Gupta is married to Anu Gupta, MD, a radiation oncologist and has a son and two daughters. He is an avid tennis player who also enjoys golf, baseball, and other sports. He is also fluent in Hindi.

Biography

Dr. Gupta grew up in the suburbs of Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated as the Valedictorian of his high school district and then matriculated to the combined six-year Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine program at Northeast Ohio College of Medicine which he completed in 1986. He then completed a general surgery internship followed by a four-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He had the additional distinction of being the Chief Resident during the last year of his residency training.

Dr. Gupta is board certified in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. In addition, he is a member of the Washington Metropolitan Otolaryngology-Head and Surgery Society. He has been providing the highest quality of ear, nose and throat care with a personal touch for both adults and children in Northern Virginia since 1991. He has been repeatedly voted as a Top Doctor by Washingtonian and Northern Virginia magazines.
